Online Support Groups you can join with the British Mindfulness Institute

What are Online Mindfulness and Wellness Support Groups?

Mindfulness and Wellness Online Support groups are online communities for those who wish to practice Mindfulness. In order to get the benefits we know that Mindfulness needs to be practiced regularly. We also know that people achieve more when in a group where they can motivate and support each other.

In the process of participating in the group you will go on a journey whereby you will be given the opportunity to practice a set of skills with a group on a daily basis that will help you transform your emotional state.

Mindfulness on the Move Support Group

Aims: This group is aimed at people who are constantly on the move, people who commute frequently by train or bus or office workers who can spare a few minutes a day (perhaps at lunch time) to engage with the group content and the meditation practices. This challenge will help you build up the habit of a daily mindfulness  thereby enabling you to enjoy all the benefits that Mindfulness brings.

Mindfulness for the Hard of Hearing Support Group

Aims: This group is aimed at those who are hard of hearing. While the content of the challenge is similar to Mindfulness on the Move the meditation platform has been especially tailored for those who are hard of hearing. Coupled with this the discussion forum and community allows you to speak and communicate with like minded mindfulness group participants who are interested in bringing Mindfulness and all it’s benefits into their daily lives.

Mindfulness for Separation Support Group

Aims: This group is aimed at people who are either separated or going through separation or divorce. The challenge is geared towards bringing people who are in the same situation together and as a collective community moving forward in learning how mindfulness can benefit them in moving forward with their lives.

Aims: This group is aimed at people who are either close to retirement or are currently in active retirement. Again, as in the other groups the aim is to bring people who are in similar situations together and to practice as a group in learning the benefits of mindfulness.
